This short tutorial demonstrates how to connect your phone to a 5Ghz network. Your phone or mobile devices need to support 5Ghz (else it won’t work). Your phone may not connect to a 5 Ghz network initially because the channel set on the router could not be detected by your phone, changing the channel on the router to a lower channel would resolve this issue and allow the phone to connect to the 5 Ghz network.
