5 GHz has shorter coverage than 2.4 GHz frequency, but 5 GHz delivers faster data speeds than 2.4 GHz which is ideal for gaming and streaming.

Take Note:

•Wifi modems/routers must support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
•Your phone must support 5 GHz wifi frequency (wireless ac) (b/g/n/ac) in order to take advantage of 5 GHz speed.
