In this #tutorial, i will show you the #dualband-split on a #fritz!box router and how to select the best Wi-Fi channel. The path is similar on other routers. How to: Split Wi-Fi into dual band 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz & channel selection.

Please note, some Smart TVs and streaming devices only support either 2.4 or 5 GHZ. Some devices also only support certain “channels” on 2.4 and 5 GHZ. The channel selection can also improve your Wi-Fi performance. Less routers on a channel, more bandwith and power for your Wi-Fi. In this step I will show you how you can manually select the best channel for your router.
