Namaskaram Friends….WiFi technology is nowadays became more common with us but most of us dont know its versions and standards ,.so in this video i have explained about WiFi and its all features in malayalam.

wifi was developed in 1997 by organisation called IEEE with its first standard 802.11 its speed was 2Mbps .but it is slow to our age but at that time it was a great.

Then on 1999 they made 2 more standards 802.11a & 802.11b.
‘a’ standard was with 5GHz and 54Mbps speed & ‘b’ standard was with 2.4Ghz and 11Mbps speed.

Later on 2003 they released a new 802.11g with both the qualities of ‘a’&’b’ ie 2.4GHz with 54Mbps speed.

Later on 2009 they realised 802.11n which is the most advanced and commonly used dual band with both of bands

At last on 2013 they launched super speed wifi ie; 802.11ac with 5GHz and 1.3GBps speed and it will be developed to 6.9Gbps as of now.
so i feel with this information you can get a clear picture of wifi age.
